Andrew McIntosh is Professor of Biological Psychiatry in the Division of Psychiatry at Edinburgh University. He is an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist in NHS Lothian and Associate Director of the Scottish Mental Health Research Network (SMHRN).
Danny Smith is Professor of Psychiatry and Lister Institute Prize Fellow at Glasgow University. His primary research interests are mood disorders (particularly bipolar disorder) and the interface between major mental illness and cardiovascular disease.
